Tremblay immediately shared that ambitious vision:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Either we were going to do it right or we weren\u2019t going to do it at all.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/hypebeast.com\/2022\/10\/norda-001-trail-running-sneaker-release-dates-interview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hypebeast.com 2020<\/a>)<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"sc-columns half clearfix\">\n<div class=\"col\">\nSaid and done. The three went on to develop their first trail-running shoe based entirely on their own needs and uncompromising standards \u2014 simply named the <strong>\u00bbnorda 001\u00ab<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve this, they turned to materials that are truly unique in their category \u2014 materials most other brands avoid due to cost. Their philosophy: <strong>no compromises<\/strong> that would sacrifice quality.<\/p>\n<p>The result: uppers and laces made from <strong>Dyneema<\/strong>, a fabric so tough it\u2019s considered <strong>twice as strong as Kevlar<\/strong>. Its midsole is made from <strong>Vibram SLE foam<\/strong>, offering an unparalleled mix of <strong>comfort and stability<\/strong> \u2014 a must for any serious trail-running shoe. The outsole uses <strong>Vibram Litebase<\/strong> and <strong>Megagrip technology<\/strong>, making the shoe both <strong>lighter and grippier<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, a high-performance shoe made with such premium materials doesn\u2019t come cheap.
