Als vor f\u00fcnf Jahren der ASICS X SNEAKERFREAKER GEL-LYTE III \u00b4ALVIN PURPLE`<\/a> gelaunched wurde, war der Wirbel, den dieser Schuh in der Sneakerszene verursachte, au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlich gro\u00df. In der zweiten Zusammenarbeit hat sich Woody von Sneakerfreaker nun im ASICS-Familienstammbaum nach oben bewegt und sich mit dem, um mit seinen Worten zu sprechen, “Killer” GEL-KAYANO TRAINER auseinandergesetzt. Meine Damen und Herren, ohne weiteres Aufheben freuen wir uns, Ihnen MELVIN, Son of ALVIN<\/strong> vorzustellen.<\/p>\n

Mit seiner elastischen Neopren-Monosock und der ausgepr\u00e4gten Fersenkappen-konstruktion ist der GEL-KAYANO TRAINER un\u00fcbersehbar ein Kick-Off Produkt der fr\u00fchen 90er Jahre. F\u00fcr Kenner der Runningszene ist er zudem der Grundstein f\u00fcr die wahrscheinlich erfolgreichste Laufschuhserie der Welt, dem GEL-KAYANO, der dieses Jahr sein 20j\u00e4hriges Jubil\u00e4um feiert.\u00a0 Auf den ersten Blick scheint MELVIN der reserviertere Charakter im Vergleich zu seinem \u201ealten Herrn\u201c zu sein, aber beim n\u00e4heren Hinsehen entdeckt man viele kleine Details, die diese Kollaboration auszeichnen. Das verwendete Suede ist samtartig weich und im \u201eschwarzesten\u201c Schwarz eingef\u00e4rbt, das die Menschheit je gesehen hat. Das asymmetrische Farbschema zeigt sich am ausgepr\u00e4gtesten auf den Tigerstripes, die auf der Innenseite ein 3M-Glitterdesign aufweisen, w\u00e4hrend sie auf der Au\u00dfenseite mit ihrer sonnigen Seite aufwarten. Schattierungen in unter-schiedlichen Graut\u00f6nen, eine gesprenkelte Zwischensohle und Polka Dot Laces vollenden das Bild. Mit einem Farbklecks in purple verweist MELVIN zwar auf seinen \u201ealten Herrn\u201c ALVIN PURPLE, dennoch ist der Junior bereit, sich seinen eigenen Namen zu machen.<\/p>\n
