Als letztes Jahr bekannt wurde, dass Reebok sich keinen Geringeren als Kendrick Lamar ins Boot geholt hat, wahr klar, da kommt etwas ganz Gro\u00dfes. Was der US-Rapper und Songwriter anfasst, wird einfach gut. Und diese Vorschusslorbeeren erweisen sich nun als absolut verdient, denn mit dem Reebok Ventilator \u201eKendrick Lamar\u201c kommt eine astreine Kollaboration zu uns, die schon Freude auf die n\u00e4chsten gemeinsamen Design-Sch\u00f6nheiten zwischen Reebok und dem Ausnahmetalent macht.<\/p>\n

Auf feinem beigen Suede thematisiert der \u201eKendrick Lamar\u201c Ventilator die gegenw\u00e4rtige Bandenrivalit\u00e4t der amerikanischen \u201eBloods\u201c und \u201eCrips\u201c in Compton, der Heimatstadt des Rappers. Wie schon auf dem Cover seines Tracks \u201ei\u201c\u00a0 vom aktuellen Album \u201eTo Pimp a Butterfly\u201c vereint Lamar die symbolischen Farben Blau und Rot der eigentlich verfeindeten Clans miteinander. Neben diesem klaren Statement f\u00fcr eine Art \u201eWaffenruhe\u201c wird auch auf der Innenseite der Lasche Lamars pers\u00f6nlich Haltung zur anhaltenden Gewalt des Konflikts deutlicht: Dort ist der selbsterkl\u00e4rende Schriftzug \u201eNeutral\u201c zu lesen.<\/p>\n

Aber auch sonst wurde nicht an liebevollen Details gespart. So zeigt die Innensohle neben der Unterschrift des Musikers auch das Emblem des Labels \u201eTop Dawg Entertainment” und neben beigen Flatlaces kommt der Ventilator zus\u00e4tzlich mit beigen, blau-rot-gesprenkelten Ropelaces.<\/p>\n
