Asics Sportstyle continues their successful collaboration with Vivienne Westwood with a shoe drawing inspiration from the Bag and Sack shoes that were part of her brand’s Buffalo collection in 1983 for the GEL-KAYANO 26 shoe. Repurposing the performance running shoe with modern punk aesthetics, this design features an open mesh net around the upper and a toggle lacing system for adjustability. Additionally, the world of Westwood’s new wave fashion lens is complemented with Asics Sportstyle´s technical tooling and the designer’s Orb logo on the heel.
