New Balance 997 »Bison Pack«

New Balance 997 - Made in USA »Bison Pack«

Originally released in 1991, the New Balance 997 was the fourth model in the 990 series and was the first to merge the technology of shock-absorbing ENCAP and C-CAP. The brand has maintained the authenticity of the debut style by using the original materials and technology when suitable. In 1994, the 997 was retired as a high performance runner, and didn't hit the streets since 2014. But back then the shoe became a great success with not only authentic OG retros but several collaborations and new colorways.

This month, New Balance unleashes the beast with the new 997 Made in USA »Bison Pack«!

To honor the craftsmanship and the consistent high quality, New Balance launch three 997 models with special upper materials. All uppers -whether blue, black or white - consist of the highest quality American Bison leather from local breeding.

Bison leather is usually softer but more durable than traditional leathers. The premium provisions don’t stop there - lush leather lining combines with reflective details on the vamp overlay, collar underlay, and ‘N’ logo underlay to further spice up these minimal marvels.
