The first edition of the Internationalist was launched back in the early 80s. But you can't see its proud age on the hip cult model. As many other sneaker classics, the Internationalist was developed as a running shoe. Born for the long haul, the runner made its debut at the 1982 New York Marathon on the feet of Alberto Salazar. But the Internationalist really became famous in 1985 with its appearance in the classic film "The Breakfast Club." Back then, the sneaker thrilled on the foot of Anthony Michael Hall, who made it immortal in his role as Brian Johnson in the blue and yellow colorway.
