In 2017 New Balance released several colorways of the 1500 with letters CMYK that stand for cyan, magenta, yellow and key (black). The CMYK color model is used for color printing and was the inspiration behind the pack. The working title for the pack is actually »Color Prism«, but people dubbed it »CMYK«.
