adidas x Parley for the Ocean
It is the most environmentally friendly sneaker of all time: the new adidas »UltraBOOST Parley«. In 2017, when we heard the first time about adidas´ plan to create a sneaker made of ocean plastic, we thought: Great idea, but how should that look like? Soon, we had to admit, that the result was simply stunning.
As a result, both brands launched a handful of Parley models each year. Now, adidas and »Parley for the Ocean« are teaming up again to present a brand new UltraBOOST model for girls and boys. The adidas UltraBOOST features a black and blue PRIMEKNIT upper that is made of 95 percent ocean plastic. For one shoe, adidas and Parley recycled 11 PET bottles.
