The adidas Powerpahse was a largely forgotten silhouette until 2016. Since this year, Kanye West first previewed his new take on the 1980s silhouette, cupping the Yeezy »Calabasas« and forming a new love of classic adidas sneaker in the hearts of many fans.
Now, after Kaye’s tonal takes on the Powerphase, adidas Originals has decided that is time for the silhouette to return - this time in a much more widely available form. For their latest releases, the 3-Stripes has replaced the gold foil »Calabasas« branding by the original embossed Powerphase logo.
