K-SWISS

We’re presenting K-SWISS - the only American brand with a strong tennis heritage. Art and Ernie Brunner, two Swiss emigrants, founded K-Swiss in 1966 in Los Angeles, California. At the beginning K-Swiss imported tennis shoes from Switzerland, but soon started producing its own shoes with a full leather upper. The »K-Swiss Classic« debuted in Wimbledon, the world’s most prestigious tennis tournament, and was for the next 20 years the only style made by K-Swiss.

In 1986 more styles, like the »Gstaad«, were designed. The wider range and and big commercials with popular testimonials made K-Swiss one of the top brands of the 90s on and off the court. Ever since, K-Swiss with its 5-stripes-design and classic styles is a huge player in lifestyle and streetwear. And even more to come…
