KangaROOS x 43einhalb Runaway »LUPUS«

The demonic sheep, a predator turned prey - the story of our first collaboration with KangaROOS finished with a cliffhanger and triggered the OVIS myth in 2015.

With our next project in collaboration with KangaRoos, the saga of the hunter is set to continue. Left behind as prey, he is fighting with an inner, animalic transformation. Distorted sounds become louder, unclear lines become sharp - and it seems as if the hunter is back more powerful than ever before: LUPUS has arrived.

Just like its predecessor, the LUPUS was produced as a Made in Germany sneaker by the Muenchweiler-based Hummel & Hummel shoe manufactory and is limited to 800 pairs worldwide.

For the second chapter of the mystical saga, we chose the KangaROOS Runaway as a silhouette to interpret the LUPUS character with high-quality materials like velour and nubuck leather in shades of grey and blue. Furthermore we equipped the Ultimate with an alcantara lining and an icy outsole for a premium feel. Complemented with embossed brandings on the upper, the wolf’s head at the heel, bespoke printed insoles with the »LUPUS pattern« and engraved silver lace locks, we are very proud of »Chapter 2« of our saga and are excited to start 43einhalb’s 10th anniversary year with the »LUPUS«.
