What started as a far-out concept for a split toe running shoe quickly became an international fashion sensation when the Air Rift launched in 1995!

The Air Rift was inspired by Kenyan barefoot runners and takes its name from the Rift valley. The Air Rift featured an Air Unit in the heel, and the upper was made of synthetic stretch-fit mesh. It is rumored that the concept came from a Japanese carpenter’s shoe. Now, it's back to turn a new generation of heads.
