The Longridge SPZL was designed as a new hybrid inspired by mid-80s running shoes. A key reference for the upper was the adidas Madison, a Korean-made model from 1987. Elements such as the suede toe overlay extending into the eyestay were reinterpreted to create a modern design.

In contrast to previous, more vibrant releases, the Longridge SPZL features a more muted and versatile color palette for easier styling. Details were also refined, replacing a traditional Gazelle-style tongue with a textured Ecotex tongue.

The design is completed with a midsole featuring a half web construction, a TRX Runner outsole, and a reworked toe guard with a wavy “S”-cut inspired by classic adidas running models.
