The colorway is inspired by a 1985 exhibition game in Italy, where Michael Jordan shattered the backboard — because he dunked so hard, the glass exploded. He wore a jersey in black, white, and orange, which is reflected in the shoe’s bold design. Originally released in 2015, the "Shattered Backboard" combines premium leather, the classic high-top cut, and OG branding to perfectly blend basketball history with street style. Even the insoles of this special edition feature a graphic that pays tribute to the iconic Nike exhibition game.
