Every year we face the same dilemma: Summer is over, all holiday snaps are already uploaded and we mentally adopt the beer garden season. Autumn has come. Actually this is the perfect time to change from airy summer-sneakers to miscellaneous sneaker-versions made out of leather that had been too warm in the last few months. If there wouldn’t exist this one fundamental problem called weather that caused us to hesitate to wear our beloved ones outside.

One shoe managed to transform itself superbly and still remains faithful to it’s traditional silhouette. The Gel-Lyte MT is a better equipped version of the classic Gel-Lyte III. Thereby a second sock-like inner shoe is designed for an enhanced strength of the upper part of the shoe as well as the legendary split tongue. The retro running shoe features an robust upper made out of mesh and suede leather. And the speckled mid sole is already almost a must. New elements are the outsole that gives increased support and the grip that is significantly higher. It doesn’t take more than that to make the Gel-Lyte III suitable for winter conditions.
