For athletes of all abilities

With the »Ease Challenge«, Nike launched a $ 50,000 design challenge in October 2016 to create a sport shoe that meets the needs of all athletes. Nike’s mission is to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete* (*If you have a body you are an athlete). The Nike Ease Challenge embodies that mission by calling on a larger community of innovators who share Nike’s commitment to elevate athletes of all abilities. Physical limitations should be taken into account and athletes of the Paralympics supervised the development process and the selection of the winners' models.

Especially the putting on and the lacing of sports shoes is often a big hurdle, and so the models of the »Ease« series are designed to overcome this obstacle.
